Warrington Wolves Homecoming Parade

Following their victorious 35-18 win over Leeds Rhinos at the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley on Saturday, the ‘mighty’ Warrington Wolves returned to their hometown yesterday to proudly show off the Challenge Cup Trophy which they’ve successfully secured for the 3rd time in 4yrs!

The homecoming parade began at Orford Jubilee Park and was hosted by Pete Pinnington. Once the team arrived directly from London they boarded the Network Warrington open top bus. During this time, the Mayor of Warrington Steve Wright came on stage to say a few words along with Council Leader Terry O’Neill and the Warrington Wolves Chairman Steve Broomhead. Pete Pinnington then welcomed the club Captain Adrian Morley onto the stage for a short interview.

Following this, the open top bus then drove round the car park for fans to capture this extremely proud occasion before heading out onto Winwick Rd, towards the Halliwell Jones Stadium then ending the parade at the Town Hall for a civic reception.
