About Pete Pinnington
One of two sons born to deaf parents, Pete Pinnington understood effective communication at a very young age. He began his radio and DJ career aged 14, gigging at his local tennis club. He quickly mastered the art of public speaking and entertaining an audience. Pete’s early presenting career took in shows on hospital, community and in-store radio. His first commercial radio gig was for Signal 1 in Stoke-on-Trent, where he also hosted local events and outside broadcasts. Prime time shows on Lancashire’s Rock FM and Wire FM in Warrington soon followed. As lead presenter and Head of Music at Wire FM, Pete was the face of the station and quickly became a household name across the North West.
In 2012, after 14 years with Wire FM, Pete retired from radio broadcasting to focus on the growth and expansion of his already successful events business Pete Pinnington Presents (PPP). In 2019, PPP rebranded to Pete Pinnington Productions to reflect the strength and diversity of our successful services, including production and event management.
