We recently helped deliver Miller Homes annual roadshow across six of their UK regions. Previously the regional PA’s would source the venue and then we would be tasked with providing and producing the staging, set, sound, lighting and visual requirements for all destinations. 2018 proved too challenging for the client as some of the venues couldn’t accommodate the required stage and set. So it was agreed to hand everything over to us to organise on their behalf. This included sourcing suitable venues and negotiating costs to help best meet each region’s budget.
We sourced numerous venues within each region and checked their availability. Then we personally visited each venue to check room dimensions, menu choices, accommodation, logistics etc. We then put suitable options to our client. Once all six venues were confirmed, we worked closely with our client leading up to the roadshows to ensure all plans, objectives and aspirations were achieved in advance. Along the way, we had regular update meetings with our client.
During the weeks of the roadshow, we would arrive the evening before to install the staging, set, sound, lighting and video production. Each conference of the roadshow would end mid-afternoon. The the PPP team would then de-rig, load up and move onto the next destination. There they would set up the evening before the next region.
